Lenards Mill in Bradley Maine is a community project dedicated to preserving the history of Maine's logging industry. They hold a "Living history" event once a year. Everybody dresses up in civil war era garb and they camp out for two days putting on demonstrations of everything from old fashioned blacksmithing to cooking. Here is one image I took.
