Yeah, nice! Just on thing, I didn't notice the review mentioning its relationship with the Tokina 100mm macro

I like the idea to replace the hood with a 49-28mm step down ring. But where can I find one? I don't see them at B&H or Adorama or even Amazon.

At $429, this is a real steal. I got mine for $600 a few years back and thought I was getting a deal at the time. Anyway, I find the lens to be brutally sharp and a pleasure to handle-- a compact, lightweight telephoto prime that is obviously one of the best macro lenses available for K-mount.

Thanks for the review update. Please consider testing for coma distortion; it's very important for astrophotography and other night photos. I know the DFA 100 has little coma, but some other lenses with good reviews based on daytime conditions have horrible coma at night.

Yes, great price for a great lens!
I have it and I love it! No need to have it testes - the results speak to me themselves.
