More & more, I really think the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 makes a wonderful portrait
lens - you can get the full body shots or head & shoulders from up close
at 28-40mm, and have traditional portraiture focal lengths from 40-75mm.

It's a very, very sharp lens, but at f/2.8 is soft enough for traditional "no-pores"
portraiture, although it's still very sharp even at f/2.8.





Still, nothing beats a fast lens for lower-light or indoor portraits.
