So it's freezing outside, i'm indoors with a terrible cold, and my other half is at work for the morning, so I figured I'd take a few warm indoor shots.
I had seen a similar image concept to this elsewhere on the forum (sorry, can't remember who) and thought I'd give it a shot.
Gear was the istDS and the sigma lens, along with a Sigma EF530dgst flash bounced off the ceiling above my head, a desk lamp provided some lighting from the side.
Anyway, it's the first time that I've actually been happy with the results from the flash, and got consistent results. I read something about TTL flashes not working in aperture priority?
anyway, pics are below, feel free to comment on improvements etc.
The first is my favourite so far, I cropped it for use elsewhere, but found that I preferred it to the others.
