Very good and very good exposure. Next time try it with the Tour Eiffel on the left or right of the frame. I know. Picky, picky, picky. Just play around with your compositions some more.

I have to agree with your composition. Center on this subject works. Moving the tower off to the right...wrong. The "third" theory just would not work on this subject. You did it correctly.

Agreed. It's hard to place anything that iconic anywhere but centre frame and not have it feel unnatural.

Looking fantastic, good work!

Lovely, Beautiful colours, what I imagine Paris to be like.

I think this composition works. Sure, it is centred but balanced a little by the buildings on the skyline. What I would do however is just crop out that structure on the bottom left near your copyright symbol. Also there is a bright orange spot on the right. Cloud perhaps, it may be natural but it does look a bit out of place and draws the eye. I would consider doing away with that too. Picky but I reckon this photo is worth the extra effort. Voila.

Print it, print it big and hang it in a prominent place.

Your photo was shot from the Trocadero, if I'm not mistaken, which is an excellent position to view the Eiffel Tower from, and you've picked a great time of day to do it. Have you cropped this at all? If so, I'd have left a little more foreground in the shot, and maybe a small amount more sky above. The little slice of building on the left actually anchors that side of the picture, in my view - I'd leave it alone, personally, or even include a little more, just to make it more solid. Your position was good, being slightly off-centre of the street and tower axis, which shows it in three dimensions.

This is all fine adjustment, though. You've handled the micro-contrast well, although a little less saturation would have made for a different mood. Nonetheless, this would make a great canvas print as it is, in my view.

Final result, more sky, more foreground, building on the left cropped and bright orange spot corrected

I wouldn't mind a little more foreground. I feel like there's room for it and it would make the picture feel a little more anchored.

I personally kept getting distracted by the two taller buildings under the arch the, dark ones. I would Photoshop them out. I don't care if they're real and he people living there might get upset.

I might consider playing with darkening the top of the sky. I don't know if it'll work out or not. But the HDR look has kind of made things look a bit flat and I wonder if that might bring out some more depth.

on my android not big it captures my attention. Yet sky/landscape vs tower seems in conflict. Crop in the sides and the tower wins. That bottom third has a great light on left and a great dark on the right that I think might make that atmosphere support that tower more if the sides were pulled in.
