Old truck in an older barn
Lens: 18-135 Camera: K-50 Photo Location: New Hampshire ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F5.6

What did I do right, what did I do wrong, what could have been done better?
Thanks

The composition is odd -- seems arbitrarily cut-off on the left and the wall and the weeds on the right aren't adding anything. (I'm all for selective framing of things, but it has to be compositionally sound and balanced.) So looks rather random, not pleasing to my eye.

I like it. The contrast between the ancient barn, still useful and the less than ancient truck, no longer useful. For me, the weeds help transition between the two. TFS

Of course we only know it is a barn because we were told -- can't tell that from the picture. I like the subject matter (this is mainly the sort of stuff I shoot myself), but not this image of it really. Needs to back up or move in, figure out what it is about. I couldn't even say what the "subject" is (in the broad sense, which might include "theme") really other than listing the objects I can see...

I took some taller shots but really felt the barn itself gave far to much empty space. Just in the photos I took , not in reality. In reality the barn offered more age to the truck but I never got it in the shot.
