I took this shot because it looked like a passageway through the grass into the ??? But I couldn't get the texture of the snow at the brightest part. What can I do to make the passage have more depth & texture? I processed as best I could with Photos.... Thanks!

I'm drawing a blank on "Photos" software. Here's are some things I would try in Lightroom and Photoshop; Photos might have similar functions:

• Convert to B&W. That might accentuate the texture and shapes.
• Increase contrast. You can do this by increasing the contrast slider. For finer control, use the contrast curve and/or adjust the black point and white point sliders.
• Look for the clarity slider and increase it. Clarity emphasizes edges. Be wary that too much can make photos look like cartoons.

You might do some, all, or none of these.

I second the B&W conversion and higher contrast/lower back point. Another thing that I would like to see is a slightly zoomed out version. I feel like a little more background framing may improve the proportions. Of course I was not there so i have no way of knowing what is just outside of the frame.
