I can only tell you that this package is a great opportunity for a first time DSLR buyer or for someone as a back-up system. If you have a Canon or Nikon and you have always wanted to try the old pentax glass.... you can't get a better start than this IMHO...
I have all of these pentax primes that are for sale here, and they are all great performers as jays examples show...

Now the K100d is also a fine Hi ISO camera... even at jpeg level the ISO 1600 is good.

ISO 1600 jpeg...

I would have loved this option when I first started, as it took me a while to collect these lenses.
