My family decided to forego giving Xmas (and birthday) presents some years back, and to give to charity instead.
But I got a $100 gift card for Ralph's supermarket from my employer (no usual bonus as this is a sucky business year), and a Starbucks sampler and cookies and chutney from co-workers.
When I got my K20D a couple months back, I rationalized it as my October birthday and Xmas present to myself.
