Sounds good. I don't actually have lights of my own but we have a couple at work I can use. They are just lights though... Photon beams... but no soft boxes, umbrellas or anything like that. Not sure what brand/types of stuff would fit on them. Maybe some tips on what lighting equipment to buy might be good? For me that would be CHEAP lighting equipment. A white/silver reflector seems to have turned un in the lights bag... must have been left behind by a photographer... result!
I am friends with a band who could do with some studio type shots. My flat could double as a studio I'm sure. Much cheaper than hiring. I'm in the process of coming up with ideas for a shoot for them. I have some natural light snaps of them that you can see on this page

you can see some without signing in on the slideshow on the page... I did advise the 'stylists' (we borrowed some clothes from the Marie Claire offices) to not use white or stripey tops but they insisted... we were all very very VERY hungover to be fair. We'll be improving on these shots in the near future!
