Photography is a great excuse for me to get out and walk. Because I pay more attention to my surroundings when I walk, hence more chances to take photos.
Walking:

*Total cal. burned minus basal metabolism.
You save gas/tread more lightly/lose weight/take more photographs just by walking more!
most pics I take these days are within 1 mile from my apartment.
p.s.I wonder if carrying a heavy lens help you lose more (weight)
