I always liked that on a film SLR, you could change iso speed to "fool" the camera, or, as with mine, you could adjust exposure compensation in M. It's easy enough of course, per picture, to use shutter speed or aperture to compensate, but as today in the snow, I wanted +2 consistently. Similarly, at the beach, or often under city lights at night, I want a constant benchmark. Then, I can vary with aperture or shutter speed for the odd shot, but I don't have to do so with the majority. I often have a hard time getting my head around things, but I don't think there's a good alternative in M in the K10. I'm glad to hear they've put it on the K20.
