Can the 645D do blinky highlights?

I like that feature on my K-3 and can't find it on the D. I'm guessing it may not be there but I'd be thrilled to find I overlooked it!

Hi!

You can set whether to display the Bright/Dark Area warning with [Playback Display Method] in the [Playback] menu.

How so? Not accurate? The K-3 will show blown highlights in the jpeg preview but you can recover them with the raw. Is it like that? If so I don't mind because I'm used to it already.

you mean the usefulness of the feature to you, or do you mean sometimes the blinking areas do not correspond with the histogram data??

It always is hit and miss because it's reading off the JPEG data which clips earlier.

On my Z, you have to read it off the live view because it's raw data, then the playback histogram looks totally different.

Not sure why they can't give raw histo on playback.

Hi mike SF what I mean is it sometimes did not work / show when previewing an image while other times it would.
