I was doing inventory for a local darkroom association, who got a set of Pentax Takumar time medium format gear for a 'long term loan' (read: bureucrazy for formal disposal would have been too complicated for the donating party).

Everything else I knew what it was, but then there was a metal round plate, about the diameter of 2€ coin. So for this I have no clue what it is and what is it used for. Maybe somebody around here knows immediately?

A key to help unscrew the cover for the buttoncell that powers the lightmeter on f.i. the K1000 or its predecessors?

What is on the obverse? Looks like an advertising specialty item - the battery cover key is a good guess.

It's the shutter cocking key for the 6x7 series.
