| Funny that I saw this thread. I created a twitter account a while ago to follow an alumni group that I belonged to. It never really took off so my account has just been sitting there. Then yesterday one of my wife's friends signs up for Twitter and I guess one of the "features" is that it will look through your address book and automatically start following people in it. I happened to be in the address book so she started following me. Since then I've had random people that I don't know (friends of my wife's friend I assume) start to follow me... so today I deleted my account LOL
