Camera Noise Pentax K3

Hello,
I am new to the forum but I have been using Pentax equipment from a Spotmatic to now the K3. The question that I have is does the K3 make a noise when you turn it on like the dust removal sound of a K20D and does the dust removal system make any noise when operating such as it did on the K20D. Thanks

It does if the option is turned on as a start-up action in the menu. However since the K7 (I believe) dust removal is virtually inaudible.

Under the Wrench menu 4, "Dust Removal", you can set it as a start-up or shut down action, or both.

Thanks for the quick reply. When you first turn on the K3 with dust removal both turned off does it make a mechanical noise? Thanks

Yes, it may still make a noise with the aperture motor starting up.
