K20D and ISO Setting

Does anyone know why when I am in my Custom mode on the dial and I set the ISO to auto and set the range why it keeps defaulting to 400 once I turn off the camera and then back on?

Do you shoot in manual mode on your K20D?
From my experience, that's the number one cause of my iso changing on my K20D.

Otherwise, there's a few menu options in the Custom Functions settings which state which options that the camera remembers and which it forgets (such as Exposure Bracketing, White Balance, et. al.), and ISO might be one of those in there. When I get home, I'll see if I can find it in the manual.

Ok - just figured it out after reading a couple of somewhat similar posts. I have my user mode on the dial set up for AV, but I guess I never whent into the menu -> setup -> user screen and then hit the OK button to actually saved it all. Works now! Darn beginners!
Thanks for your help..
