Can't set Pop-up flash on K-5IIs

When I try to set the pop-up flash on my K-5IIs to -1,-2, +1 etc. it fires full blast on all the settings. I don't see any difference between light output at any of the settings ?

I think I know what the problem is, the flash-settings do not work when using a manual lens. I had a Takumar lens mounted on the camera, but when I removed it and mounted a DA lens, the flash-settings worked perfectly. Oh well...

They added manual flash discharge in the K-3 and K-S2 FYI

Yep...the flash exposure comp is a feature of P-TTL. When a lens lacking the "A" contacts is mounted, the flash defaults to manual mode.
