Remote shutter release

Hi, Does any one know if a Pentax Electronic cable release will work with a K-x?

The K-x does not have a socket for a wired remote but you can use an IR wireless remote like the Remote Control F (or equivalent). There is only one IR port on the front of the camera.

I have no idea but you can get a cheap infrared remote on eBay that will. I picked up two because they were so cheap at 98 cents each, including shipping from China. They work with all of my cameras except my K100D.

I bought an infra-red shutter release on Amazon which works well on my Kx. It is a JJC model RM-E7 which is good for all Pentax cameras released in 2010 or later, or so it says on the box. I don't remember the cost but it was cheap.
