Exposure compensation +/-2. Strange...
Another range in specs...
WHO CAN EXPLAIN?

+/- 2 EV with 1/3 stops.
+/-3 EV with 1/2 stops.

Display change accordingly to if 1/3 or 1/2 EV stops are used.
In the image, 1/3 EV stops are used so that is why it is +/- 2 EV.
Is this the announced "problem" with the body?

At first I was very sceptic about the smaller size of this thing. I find the K20 very comfortable in my hands. This new battery grip however gives me the impression that it might provide the best of both worlds: even smaller then the K20 without the grip, and still very comfortable with grip attached. As my friend pointed out earlier today: the grip looks thicker and better to hold in portrait mode then the D-BG2.

For those that claim it's too big - you've obviously never seen the (chinese?) third party grip for the K100, now _that_ is huge, almost as big as the camera itself!

it's amazing that you're the only one who's wondering about the FUTURAMA going on all around the camera. this is user made, not Pentax right?

if they do this, somebody will hate them (again). they already pushed canikon to make is/vr kitlenses, and now this.. of all the people, i think canon/nikon users should be most thankfull to the likes of pentax (and olympus)

Indeed, but for the sake of accuracy, I believe it was Minolta that ushered in the age of DSLRs with built-in stabilization

Well, every high quality image leaked in this thread has been pretty genuine, it seems to me. So Pentax makes a yet another 18-55 as the high end kit lens instead of the DA 17-70mm? How about a WR version too? I still think is dumb but if they make the 17-70 weather proof then I won't complain.

However, what does the "F/1.0" mean in the shoulder display photo? I wracked my brain and still can't figure out. Non of the 135 1.0 lenses (Leica 1.0, Canon EF 1.0) can focus to infinity on the K mount right? What does it mean?? I need to know!?!

The mythical DA*30 mm is an f/1.0 lens?

Just dreaming

Humm, I wonder if we'd get a 17-70 and 16-45 wr lenses to but price them so the 16-50 doesn't look like a deal.
