Is ther a K-x or other AA Pentax for sale on the Forum

Yep am taking new directions here as we have the First Pentax *istD DSLR camera with a a Sigma18-50mm 1:3.5-5.6 DC Lens

And having just bought MORE AA Rechargeable batteries - Decided to give this a whirl and having the ability to use Older/Newer Pentax Cameras

Your best bet would be to put a Wanted Ad up in the Wanted Items section.

I don't have a camera for sale, but congrats on the *ist D - I started out with one 5 years ago, and have since added another! Even though it's old, one of it's strengths (imo) is it's compact size. The large viewfinder and accurate metering make it a natural for use with M, K, and A series lenses, especially primes. One of my favorite walkaround kits is the *ist D paired with my M28/3.5. Don't be afraid to try the classic manual lenses with this camera! Get an m42 adapter and discover the great Takumars too.

There's one right here:
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/24-photographic-equipment-sale/298799-sal...rop-final.html

Gotta love the search feature

If you decide against getting that one for whatever reason, head to the top of the marketplace and add k-x and kx to your watch list keywords. You'll get an e-mail whenever a matching listing is posted.

Also, the K-30, K-50, K-500, and K-r can be used with AA's with the D-BH109 battery holder.

K-7/K-5/K-3 with a battery grip also means they can use AA's, of course.

I strongly recommend a K-30 or K-50 vs the Kx. The two scroll wheels, WR and the beautiful 16mp sensor all are great features. Movie and live view are big improvements too. The AA adapter for the K-30 is cheap.

Gripping a istD or K200D means more batteries ..
You have your original 4xAA + there is another 4xAA in the grip for a total of 8xAA ... ( More Power )

Go with a K-r, they have focus points if you want to go cheap. I have a K-30...LOVE it. The K-50 can be had body only for ridiculously cheap now. BTW started my Pentax affair with the K-x loved that as well. I cannot sell that to you as I have given it to my 6 year old as his first Pentax DSLR. Great camera though. My advice...get the K-50 and enjoy the weather sealing.
