Date check: How can this be?

I was checking my shutter count and manufacturing date on the Pentax website(here) and found out that my K-10D, had a manufacture date more recent than my K-20D!
I know that my K-10D had to go in for repair. it fell from inside a lighthouse; is it possible that the body was completely replaced? I did purchase my K-20D after my K-10D(while the K-10D was in for repairs. Any answers? thanks

K-10D manu date: 9-17-2009

K-20D manu date: 4-18-2008

Can you remember what date your K10D was repaired?

If they replace the main board as part of the repair, the camera will show a different date of manufacture.

If they had replaced the entire camera, they probably would have let you know.
