where is the cheapest place you can get a pentax dslr? im from the philippines and some where even made here, how come it's hard to find a pentax dslr and its more expensive here?

I don't know what the Filipino market pricing is like, but generally the big-name US online vendors like B&H, Adorama and KEH have the best deals for both new & used gear.

Shipping from US to Philippines isn't that great. Plus it might be subject to local duties.
Most Filipino friends that I know go to neighbouring Hongkong to buy their gear.

I'm not at all sure what your options are in the Philippines. I would just point out that you should be careful who you buy from. Here in the USA there are, sadly, a number of shady dealers. They advertise low prices, but then use the hard sell to add stuff to orders that the buyer doesn't want - expensive stuff. THey are more likely to ship defective cameras. They are harder to deal with if you want to return your purchase for a refund.

Here in the USA, I buy almost exclusively from Amazon, B&H Photo, Adorama, KEH and Photo4Less, in that order of preference. Prices at Amazon, B&H and Adorama are usually pretty close (but not always so it's worth checking all three before placing an order).

Anyway, don't buy on price alone. It may be worth paying $50 more for good customer service - and peace of mind.

i ordered mine in amazon last month through a relative. she already have it shipped.. i'm still waiting for it. does amazon & b&h shipped worldwide?
