You should also look at the Kata 3N1-20 or 3N1-30 bags as well. Although I don't own it, I have used it for a day of "hiking" and after walking for a few minutes, realized it was very uncomfortable for the single strap slingshot position all day and it was a great option to be able to wear it as a back pack. The only problem I had with the 3N1-30 was that it was kind of big on me, noticeably larger than my school bag anyways, so that it looked awkward with me carrying it. HOWEVER, you can now get the 3n1-20 and 3n1-30 for about $75 and $100 (respectively) with a $25 on DPS bags over $100 (which both camera bags fit into that category). IMHO, it is a very comfortable bag, built a THOUSAND times better (thicker, high quality materials) than my $20 5 year old Jansport, and customizable with the myriad of pockets (not to mention the D-rings which I used in combination with some metal rope combined a tripod).
