Me too I like it's body, all metal body, very similar focus ring to those of Takumars. As mentioned I later had bought another Soligor of the same line, a 25mm f2.8 preset but whose optical performance did not impress me that much:

the photos of the 180mm f3.5 do mislead a bit, this lens actually is quite a bit lighter and smaller than e.g the Takumar 200 f4

that shot of your's with the MC Jupiter 37A is special, and it is a great lens which deserved mentioning in that thread: http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/p...-look-out.html
