Somehow I don't think Canon's going to admit people'll be wanting to use old Pentax lenses, even if the full aperture standard is open.

I really doubt Pentax truly want people to use old lenses either; they make money off people buying new glass. Sure, it's nice to give lip service to the old stuff, but if they REALLY wanted people to use the Pentax bodies for that, why not give them a fully functional K mount?
