Good telephoto

Well so i sold my earlier tamron 70-300 to get my flash but it looks like i might need one of these again for work. Will primarily be used at the longer end. Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks!

I have heard that the Sigma 70-300 is one of the best budget telephoto zooms. I can tell you from experience that the Tamron 75-300 is a terrible lens. Soft and tons of CA. And I am not a lens snob. I just want good IQ.

What is your budget?

Assuming it is in your budget the DA 55-300 is well respected. I used it for years and got a lot of nice images from it.

Since OP didn't say which of his cameras he's wanting the lens for, I think that should be settled first before offering him what you all think he should buy. He posted this in the Non Pentax forum afterall.

Yep, I missed Sergy's post where he said Nikon. But others were trying to get you, neostyles, to buy Pentax. LOL

yep, the 100-300 is very nice. But also the 80-200 is pretty good. it is very sharp (sharper than the 100-300), but has more CA than the 100-300
