Saw this today up on mirrorless rumors
As it just so happens i havent quite pulled the trigger on the nx1 because im still saving up a bit more money for the 16-50. All i can say is that this thing is bad news for canon/nikon. It kept on getting better with monthly updates and now it seems like we will be getting 60p at 4k which before this was only found in 20k cinema cameras! There is currently a pretty lengthy petition over on the nx1 fb page for sony to add 240 fps well it looks like it might now be possible. Hell, the nx1 does 120 fps at 1080 and what with 4k having 9x the data that 720p does (no reason why 240 fps wouldnt be possible at 720p) that would mean that we might be getting 1000+ fps. Imagine that. I think that is just what the market needs. There isnt really a good slow motion camera out there that people who dont you know light their cigars with $100 bills. Ever since i stumbled upon the slow mo guys on youtube ive wanted to start doing things like that. Only problem is that these cameras cost a small fortune. This could make slow motion video a viable option to the average person!
