Hurry, only 2 days left for the deal of the century!
A listing on 'that' bidding site for a Nikon 6mm f2.8 fisheye for only $84,995 plus $295 shipping, and if that's not enough of a shock for you then you will be even more shocked to know there is one bid on it!!!

(my wife already said "NO" so that's one less person you have to outbid)

That f/2.8 6mm fisheye is a rare and strange beast. I know of a person who used mounted on the bottom of a helicopter and sadly when the landed it scratched the front element. This is back when the lens was new and still available - it was still an expensive mistake.

I had (at one time) one of the mirror lockup slower fisheyes and it was a trip to use since we didn't have the viewfinder to go with it. It was point the camera - take a shot and hope.

Anyone know how much it used to cost new?

And I thought the FA* 200mm macro was a good investment!

Fair warning: this lens is a nuisance to hand hold.

I nearly bought a used one in 1980 for 10K. I think at the time it wasn't going for much more than that.
