Replacement rewind Knob for K1000

Hi,
So somehow the rewind knob on my Pentax k1000 fell off and I've looked on eBay to try find a new one but no one in the U.K. Seems to have that specific one! Anyone know if you can use a different models rewind knob on it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not in the UK but they have several versions of the K1000 rewind knob:

Lucky you. K1000 parts are very common. There are probably half a dozen K1000 rewind knobs on eBay right now. Even if you can't find the knob, a K1000 parts body could probably be found for ten bucks.

I have a big problem trying to find a rewind knob for my K. They never show up on eBay and the cheapest parts camera on there right now is $148.

A K must be low volume compared to K1000 and the knobs across the K1000, Kx,... will interchange even if some look different.

I've got tons of them lying around and can simply give you one if you can cover the postage from the US. Which K1000 version is it?
Hi Adam,

I have a Honeywell Pentax, really similar to the k1000. I can send you payment for shipping if you can help me replace my rewind knob.

Thanks

I know this post is old, but I'm having the same problem -- the rewind knob on my K-1000 fell off. I'm looking for a replacement. I would gladly pay you and/or pay shipping. It's the old style version, black with the silver lever.

Hi everyone,

I also have the same problem.

Seems very fickle for the rewind to simply fall off... but none-the-less I am now on the hunt for my own replacement.

The only problem is I am located in New Zealand!

If any of you know where I could find one please let me know! I miss taking photos with my baby!

Thanks heaps
