200 bucks for an SD card? They must be really crazy. I could help send out a few of these from Adorama to you guys if there's enough interest.

For us foreigners, the small Adorama footnote on this deal is that "This item cannot be shipped outside the USA".

Mafia Statement of Pentax to keep the price higher as necessary in other countries. The price of this Flucard in Europe is about 30% higher as in the USA, also the quantity in Europe is about Zero!!!
I think that Pentax try to position their new Products on a higher price level as it was in the past. It isn't a bargain anymore. If I would be an new photographer, without a dozen of lenses, I think my first choice will not be Pentax. I think the strategy of Sony decided to would be more sympathetic for me if I become a new user without a Pentax past.. (Nikon, Canon and Olympus can't favour me)

I am looking for expressions of interest from anyone in Australia who would like to purchase a 16gb Pentax Flucard Pro.
I have a college who is travelling to NY soon and is willing to purchase the cards and deliver them to me.
Price is yet to be determined but will be less than purchasing direct from B&H delivered, and much less than the $199 being charged by Pentax Australia.

I did get mine from Adorama but I had to get tricky with a "work around" to get it.

I've been told that the issue is that units with wifi must get approval from each country’s government (like the FCC in the US) & sometimes there can be minor differences between countries, or it hasn’t been approved yet, etc
So that’s why Pentax / Ricoh is asking not to ship outside the country
That said, we have no issue shipping them out of the country, but we cannot vouch if it passed certification in the user’s country outside of the US.
