AU$629 with 24 months warranty

At the current exchange rate, that is $510 US. Even with the cost of shipping that is well below the $750 it was going for here in the US, even when they were available. The problem is if it takes more than one to actually get a good one. Do they come with international warranties - so that Sigma USA will adjust them?

We are not talking about the distribution subsidiary here - its the responsibility of the parent company.

My first one was well over 45 units of back-focusing out and CRIS realigned it and made the adjustments under warranty 2 days after I received it new.

If they can sell them new down in OZ, why can't Sigma sell the 8-16 here in the US? It's a reasonable question?
