Those read speeds can only be achieved with a UHS-II slot. No current Pentax bodies have one of those.

I'm curious what would be the effect if these cards were used in a K3? Would there be reduced performance, or would it just work just as fast as the SanDisk cards preferred for the K3?

Can't figure out why it would reduce the performance... UHS-II should be backward compatible with UHS-I?

That's a question I asked myself a few months ago, and I decided to buy this one instead of a top UHS-I. I can't compare with an UHS-I, but this card is working well (used with a K3), and is future-proof.
Sadly from the picts we have, the FF won't be UHS-II.
