Anyone wanting a great starter kit, I paid $500 for the same deal. Looks like it's a closeout sale...But you have to shop in person. Might be worth a drive for some.

Some really good deals here! I already have 2 K-50 bodies, but these deals almost make me want to get a 3rd one....

I'm waiting & hoping for a similar deal on the K-3 or K-3II.

I just got one with the kit lens from Westmont store for $268 including tax, It also came with free 4BG eye-fi sd card. They have one more in stock. Sweet deal IMO.

For the wife.

She wants to get a Q-S1 & the 01, 02, 06, & 08 lenses, though. She thinks the K-50 is too bulky.

Sometimes I'll go shooting with the 35mm attached to mine & I'll attach either the 18-55 or the 50-200 to the other body. I use the 35mm almost all the time, but there are times that I'll need a wider angle or more reach. Just depends on what I plan on shooting. Don't need to stop & change lenses. That's the beauty of having 2 bodies, but it can be a hassle carrying 2 cameras at a time.

A K-3 or K-3II & a Q-S1 later this year might replace both the K-50 bodies. I'll shoot the K-3/II & my wife will shoot the Q-S1.

Got the last one in Towson today for my wife.
She loves her old K-1000, and she is now busy setting up her 21st Century version.
The package came with both kit lenses, a 4Gb eye-fi HDSD card, an AF200FG Flash, and a Lowepro adventura 170 case that just fits everything.

All ready for World Pentax Day

Ordered her a spare battery and a couple of lens hoods for good measure.
