which uv filters are resistant to water??

think about the weathersealed lenses' front element, they let you clean the water easily. (they do something, they collect the water drops together and when you blow they go away) i saw a b+w or hoya model does the same thing but could not find them. may you please send me the link of the model(s) which are multicoated and resistant to water. i want to use it with my 50-135...
many thanks

Hello,

You should check Marumi filters. They are of very high quality, definitelly in the range of best Hoya filters (at least in my opinion). I have one Water resistant UV filter which I use on my 200mm tele lens. More than once, the "water repelent" coating proved it's name.
MARUMI Filter_WebGate

Hope this helps.

i found b+ w mrc uv filters on B&H photo for 50 $
B+W | 67mm UV Haze 010 (MRC) Multi-Resistant Coating | 66070236

Well, I'm not sure about the B+W filters if they have Water proof coating or not, I haven't tried them yet. Anyway, their web site states that MRC (Multi Resistant Coating) is dust and water repellent, so they should be (see: Schneider Optics - Home )

Be carefull to get a WPC (Water Proof Coating) filter if You are thinking about Marumi - not all filters are water proof coated!
