Are you using the Promaster 7500EDF Flash?

If so, would you mind answering a couple of questions??

First, do you like it?

Second, can you tell me the height from the bottom of the foot to the middle of the flash tube area? (It's project time)

Thanks for your help!!

not relevant but I had a promaster 7000? for my ds that I was always happy with. IMO you dont see many complaints about the promaster flashes. try searching on dpreview, number of people there have it. It looks very nice, doesn't have hss if that is an issue for you.

Are you still looking for the measurements? Which tube do you want the measurement on? It has 2 flashes and I love this thing so far. I still know nothing about flash photography however this thing is cool. Picked it up from a local shop going out of business for $156 new. Anyway let me know what measrements you are looking for and I will do it for you.

If you don't get an answer here, I'm certain the Promaster customer support people will give a prompt answer. They're pretty helpful.

I was not sure which flash tube he was wanting measured, the small one or the large one. The bottom would be easy but the top I could get close but maybe not exact. By the way I discovered I qualify for a $50 mail in rebate on the flash so now the bottom line on it is $106. Mattdm I sent Chris aka Codiac an email requesting a link to a tx and rx to make my flash wireless but since you seem to be on top of this stuff would you know where to find a good setup? Chris said something about Ebay and around 40 bucks but I am clueless. Again I know nothing about using a flash yet so this is new to me but I would like to go wireless.

Cajun, thanks for the offer - I went ahead and bought one because of the features (and price - not as good as yours, but close). Great flash - so far I'm impressed and happy!
