| Pentaxian | Vivitar 383 Flash? Hey everyone, i was interested in anyones opinion on VIvitar flashes now. i use to own a Vivitar AF880 (rebranded Sigma 500) and it worked wonderfully, but i sold it =( Now i see that vivitar has these new ones: DF 283 and DF 383. Has anyone heard anything about them? i know they're no longer rebranded sigmas, so i was wondering if anyone knows who makes them now. And before anyone mentions it, yes im too poor to buy the Pentax 540. The Vivitar DF 383 is being sold on ebay right now by Cameta Camera for $129! Posts: 923 | From the descriptions, the DF-383 doesn't have auto mode. I wouldn't buy it. In fact, I wouldn't buy any flash that does not have its own light sensor. |
