How do I get the MODE to show up on the screen? I can only get the secondary flash to work and can't figure out how to fix it.

I do not understand your question.
The mode is showed after pressing the left button twice on my 58 AF-1.

What do you mean with: "I can only get the secondary flash to work and can't figure out how to fix it.".
Can you explain your problem some more?

I sent a email to Metz and they told me that I had to hold down the left button to reset the flash then the MODE showed up.
Thanks anyway.
