Pentax users from India?

@Aditya,

I use SMC 300mm/f4 and 1.7x TC. In flight birds are tough because of manual lens otherwise, I am happy with quality with combo. Reach and converting to autofocus of K / A lenses ( in fact m42 lenses also with some aluminium foil trick) are advantages with this TC.

I am a newbie to both photography, pentax and your forum. Hope to learn a lot from you. I use a K100D with a few old manual focus lenses, though I find my gears not much adequate, I am quite satisfied with them.

Few test shots from A*300mm. Due to overcast & low light I didnt try shooting birds, instead tried humans.

Most of them are wide open at F4
This lens looks great to me. I need to go to some bird shooting soon. Aditya please let me know when you are going for your next shoot.
