Hi guys,

I had come across an old manual Pentax 300mm f/4 in a shop in Palika Bazaar when I was in Delhi last. Palika is an excellent place to hunt for hard to come across stuff.

Cheers,
Aditya

No, I did not try it yet. But sure. I'll try in Delhi.
Is there any other way, like we can write to pentax to launch their products in India and take care of their customers here?

Atindra, you're welcome. Your idea of writing to Pentax to launch their products in India sounds nice. Also, we could write to Sigma and Tamron to not systematically abandon their Pentaxian customer base by increasingly making their products incompatible with Pentax bodies. Also, I don't know how many of us here are into wildlife, but personally, I would like Pentax, Sigma and Tamron to give us some proper offerings in the super telephoto/telephoto zoom range. Lets lobby for that too.

What say, Indian Pentaxians?

Cheers,
Aditya

Hi, I went to Pentax's international customer service site. In India IDLDPL.com is their distributor. I found a link to chat with pentax representative on their customer service site and conveyed our feelings to him. He ensured me to convey our message to the company.

Introduction

Friends, very happy to come across this forum and overwhelmed to see so many Pentaxians around ! I have Pentax-MX-, Pentax-Z1p, Pentax-Z-70 and Pentax-K100D cameras.M 28,50,135 A 70-200, F 35-70,100-300 and Vivitar 400 lenses. I am a generalist and shoot all sorts of subjects. My Pentax 100-300 lens is infested with fog and fungus and despite my best efforts I have not been able to have it cleaned here in Mumbai. Any suggestions ?

My favourite food is Indian food and my favourite restaurant is an Indian restaurant a few miles from here.
They serve authentic dishes from all regions of India and change the menu monthly.

My wife has a burning desire to visit India.

I admire the spirituality of your country.

Welcome to all our Indian members old and new.
