Corrupted RAW file. Bad SD card?

Anybody ever gotten a picture like the attached after RAW conversation? I was one one weekend at a local birding/outdoor festival and shot somewhere between 200-300 photos on two different cards with my K10D. About 5% of the pictures had some sort of issue similar to the one below with banding always being horizontal. All photos where shot in PEF format. RAW Developer was the only converter I have that would touch the file (Preview and GraphicConverter just showed the files as blank). The SD cards were two 2 GB SanDiskUltra II that I picked up at Costco a few months ago. I've since shot another 300 or so shots on a different card and all of the them were fine. Given that my bet is on a corrupted SD card. It's odd though that I didn't get any read errors when I was off loading the batches with the corrupted photos.

I had this happen previously while shooting jpgs. In my case it was a defective sd card. Repeated test shots with the same (bad) card produced similar results, while 2 other cards in the same environment worked properly. Interestingly, the first 50-100 were fine and then the rest went bad to the point where some would not even open. You can probably return the card for a replacement.
