It works for me on my K100D Super. You may have a slightly different mount revision on your camera.

nope, pretty sure k100 k10 k200 or k20 have the same mount. Maybe the lens is different, definitely not the mount...

I understand mount adapters can result in the lens unable to focus to infinity, but I can't find if even a non-infinity-focusing adapter is available.

UPDATE - found this thread about nikon flashes with pentax, I guss I'll have to play around with it but sounds like it'll work! the lens is a much bigger deal though...

thanks for any info.

Buy a Nikon body to use with your Nikkor lenses. The better ones make Pentax look like a child's toy, the lesser ones are about as good as anything Pentax makes, and you will have the pleasure of using your lenses the way they were designed to be used rather than putting a junky optical converter in front of them and losing most of their usability.

I've bought numerous lenses on eBay lately, many in odd 'lots' where I cherrypick and (hopefully) resell the rest. The 12 Canon lenses are totally unusable on my K20D. Of the 6 Nikon mounts, the only interesting one is a Nikkor 85/2. Should I spend US$44+ for a flaky adapter for one lens that cost me US$7? Nope. The Nikkor fits fairly snugly on the K mount in the 6:00 position. When the day gets a bit brighter, I should do a shootout between the Nikkor, my Jupiter-9 85/2, and my Vivitar 90M/2.8.
