Computer requirements for using Remote Assistant?

A techie friend of mine has offered to upgrade a beautiful Toshiba laptop that I used to use while traveling (very thin, great display, only internal drive is a too small HD). My thought is that I can use it with the Remote Assistant, tethered to my K10D when shooting portraits and interiors; I don't intend to do any post processing on it. Can anyone that has been using Remote Assistant tell me what the minimum computer configuration needs to be, in order to work properly?

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

* Windows: Windows XP/Vista (32 bit), Pentium 4 equivalent or later, 512MB RAM, 250MB HDD, monitor resolution 1024x768 or better (24 bit color).
* Macintosh: MacOS-X 10.3.9 or later, G4 (1 GHz) processor or later, 512MB RAM, 250MB HDD.

That is the official requirements, but I'm running PRA 3.0 on a PIII with 256Mb and 1024x768 screen.

Thank you
Russell

Thanks R-E. That may be very helpful. My laptop is a Pentium III and I'm not sure if it's feasible to upgrade the processor, which is only 500mhz; upgrading the hard drive is probably doable. What's the speed of your processor?
