Geotagged images

I bought the Delorme Earthmate PN-40 GPS awhile back and now have RoboGeo v5.6.4.
Did you guys know if you were to load this pic in Lightroom 2 (or any geotagged pic for that matter) and looked at it in the Library module, there is a little arrow thingy beside the GPS field, click on it and Google Earth pops up with a aerial map of the place! Unbelievable.
Anywho, this place doesn't look fancy but if you travel through here this summer, it has the best steaks in the west, it's spendy but you'd better bring your appetite:-). If you don't have LR 2 you can enter these coordinates into Google Earth to get the map.

Hey, was that LR that produced the location bar at the bottom of the image?

No, RoboGEO did it.
Geocode Photos and Create Google Maps or Export KML and KMZ Files to Google Earth

I use Jeffrey Friedl's LR plugin to geocode my pictures. When you shoot RAW, most separate applications cant encode RAW files with the coordinates.

Thanks for the link Aloha, I hadn't seen that one before or I would have tried it before shelling out the cash for Robo.
BTW, Robo does support writing to DNG and a bunch of other formats. I don't know how often I'll "stamp" my photos with the GPS info, but it's there.

OMG it doesn't use WGS 1984 does it? Bloody hell, you'll get lost for sure.

Jokes.

I've manually tagged a few of mine and noticed if I right click the photo one option is "Locate spot on map by GPS". If I click that Google Earth takes me there. So I presume GE added that to the right click menu. Cool.
