Possible good deal in Eastern Europe?

Just received a newsletter from one of Romania's biggest retailers of photography-related equipment. They're selling the Samsung GX-20 (aka Pentax K20D for those out of the loop) bundled with the 12-24 f/4 Xenon, for ~$764.

Any good? Is Samsung just trying to get rid of old stock?

I think it's a very good deal. In the US K20D's body alone sells for about $690. (Btw, I'm Romanian, too.)

Hahaha, I don't have money for a motorbike either.

Buying a bicycle. Cheaper, healthier. And much faster during rush-hour.

700 EUR seems like a reasonable price for a bicycle around here. And not a race bicycle.

I found one for less than 300. Second hand but just the way I like it. It has a sturdy frame and that's all I really want; I can change everything later on.

Thought about it multiple times. Too much for my pockets. Besides, there's no way I'll ever find a vertical grip for it in Romania.

Sour grapes right now.. I just can't justify the price. I don't need a better camera. I already have one. I can't say the same about transportation.

You are thinking right.
If you don't need and for now have better use for the money, just forget it for the time being
