Just a worrying thought

I'm kinda hoping Pentax has a good supply of those Samsung cmos sensors now that north Korea is getting on stupid again. Lets not forget that they did get into shooting matches recently over some border islands.

Personally I don't think the north is stupid enough to start a nuke fest but they could cause enough trouble to potentially disrupt exports, which include our Pentax K-7 sensors and other samsung products, hyundai's ram factories and lots of consumer electronic goods. Literally consumer electronic prices could go through the roof if things get out of hand as even Japan could be threatened by this.

Hoya you need to stock pile sensors just in case

Yeah, it would be a real inconvenience if a nuclear war disrupted the flow of luxury goods.

from Trinidad? What could be bad news? The rum isn't aged enough to drink? Running out of beach sand?

Good lord don't worry about something that hasn't happened.

Priorities?

Um... the price of a new camera is the last thing I'd be worrying about in such a scenario...

Oops! You missed the fact that the 14.6 CMOS sensors are made in Israel. We should worry more about the Arab/Israeli conflict.

We should just consider ourselves fortunate to be living in peaceful, prosperous societies, in spite of the economic and political issues around the world...

Stress less (shoot more)...
