Pentaxian to be on Today Show 11/22

Just an FYI that I learned earlier this evening a local photographer from Tulsa who also happens to be a Pentax shooter is going to be featured on the Today Show on NBC tomorrow morning.

Here's the writeup from the Tulsa World

and here's his Flickr Photostream

Today was the 22nd. Did you mean 23rd or did we miss it?

According to that article linked above:
Thomas Shahan, former member of the Tulsa World’s Satellite staff, will be featured on the “Today” show at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday.
I just set the DVR to record the full 2 hours though so I can catch it later.

I think I might have just missed it.
I'd welcome a summary if anyone would be so kind.
Thanks.

Today Show Video Player

When asked what kind of camera he used, he said , "a normal digital SLR".

From what I have read he doesn't seem to like flaunting or even revealing what he uses much. It's good to bring the focus back on the artist but maybe it is to not turn off people that only love Canon/Nikon. On his flickr page you can see he uses a K200D. Does that mean he uses burst mode or what to make videos?

Thanks for posting the clip. Wow, that was a rather coarse "interview". He pretty much had to fight his way into it.

Check out his work showcased on MSNBC. Last slide shows him hard at work with his Pentax K200.

Love his duct-tape difusser. All I want to know is what glass he's using

I noticed that last slide too - hey, that's a K200! Those are some amazing shots on his Flickr site. Flickr: Thomas Shahan's stuff tagged with k200d
And not real fancy macro glass either - he uses reverse-mounted lenses.

one of the photos on his flickr page (the one that looks to be a scan from a magazine) Published in the October issue of Popular Photography magazine! on Flickr - Photo Sharing! says that he used an SMC Takumar 28mm 2.8 reversed mounted on a bellows.

score one for the Takumars.
