does anyone have an answer to where is the best place to buy a flash in chicago, I am there on business and the AF540 is almost half price as Canada

I used Central Camera during the four years I lived in Chicago. Old family store. They also have a web presence of sorts.

Hi Slicksterone,

Try these places:

Calumet Camera:
1111 N Cherry Ave.
Chicago, IL 60642 ~ prices are a little high, store is not the biggest but they have an OK selection.

Central Camera is good downtown.

My favorite is Helix on South Racine, they are huge. Prices aren't too bad either. Google them for their website. Here is their address and phone:
