[EXPIRED] WTT: DA40/2.8 for DA16-45/4 or FA35/2

I have the DA40/2.8 Limited and I'm embarrassed that I just don't use it. I bought it last October as a birthday present for myself and I've maybe taken 250 shots with it (out of 10000+). I bought it because of it's size and reputation for sharpness, but it's just not a focal length I use. I am looking for the DA 16-45 or perhaps the FA35/2. Any of you folks who upgraded to the DA* 16-50 want to get rid of that old piece of junk?

Optically, the DA40 is a winner. My observation is that it's sharp through the full range and the image quality is very good. Comes with original caps. I still have the pouch and the hood is unused (I screw in a 49->52 step-up ring and use 52mm lens caps and filters). The box was cut for the rebate at the time. The lens is in good shape--it hasn't been abused. But, it also hasn't been stored in a hermetically sealed box either. It's been in my camera bag for most of the last year, snug between two dividers with both caps on.

I'll throw in some cash plus my part of the shipping for both these lenses, depending on their condition and other factors. US/Canada preferred for convenience but I'm not against shipping elsewhere. With the value of the dollar against the € and £, it may work against this being a good deal overseas.

Here's a shot that I took that was accepted to the Pentax Photo Gallery before they screwed it up with that silly voting system.

I just struggled between purchasing the lens you're giving up and the lens you want (I chose the 35 2). Not interested in trading, but I just had to comment what a great picture that is - sorry for being off-topic, but it is an incredible photo.......
