[EXPIRED] WTB: f1.4 ??mm

I am back! Now that I will be going to a photography class... the problem: I need a 1.4 lens... I love using my friend's lens but I think it is about time to stop borrowing and get my own... I don't have time to wait for eBay auctions and I don't have internet access as often as i used to, so I would like to see what you all have to offer... I will be using this on my K100D... the cheaper, the better (i am a college student w/o loans after all...)

plmuzikmaster@gmail.com is the best bet to get in touch with me...

well you've only got 2 choices of focal length with that speed, 85 and 50mm, and I am guessing you will want to go for 50 since the 85's are a little bit on the expensive side, the FA 85 going for around USD 1400.

I think you should specify if you want a fully automatic autofocus lens (FA 50, F 50), an automatic, manual focus lens (A 50) or a fully manual lens (Tak, K 50).

i guess i want to stay away from the 85...

as for the focus, anything goes but i prefer auto/manual so that i can choose... in the end, the price will determine whether i buy or not... i currently have an offer of a 1.7 50mm auto chinon... let's see if i can score any other deals...

I think all the Pentax 1.4 and 1.7 50's are good more or less, but I would keep away from the 50 f2.0 but if you are going for 1.4 you will be fine.

There was an FA 50 1.7 for sale here not long ago, maybe its still available
